Postman Pat

The last couple of weeks I have received some really cool things in the mail. Firstly these adorable postcards from all around the world. A big thanks to Michelle from Hot Pink combat boots for her beautiful German postcard.

Another super big thanks to Christie from While Life Passes By as I was the winner of her giveaway and received this Vintage Picnic Box. I love it, it's so cute!

Next is my 0.99c Black Romper from eBay. Yay cause it was so cheap and Yay as it actually fits and looks really good on.

and last but not least I received my Frankie Mag in the mail. I love Frankie and am thinking I should probably do a giveaway of one so you girls overseas can see how beautiful it is.

Have you guys received anything cool in the mail lately? If anyone wants to do a postcard swap with me just email me at goddess_luan@hotmail.com so we can swap addresses.

Facial Exercises

30 Days of Health and Well Being is a month-long series of seminars, activities and events in June, which promote health awareness and physical activities around Australia. One of the articles is about Facial exercises to help tone your face. OMG my face was killing when doing some of these who knew you could have a unfit face. below are the examples they gave. Enjoy yourself and let me know how you go. Thought I would post a pic of me doing the first exercise. You can never say I am vain anything to make you girls have a giggle. Thank goodness there was no snot up my nose.

If exercise can firm up your body, it stands to reason that it can also firm up your face. Try this workout to delay signs of ageing.

Facial exercises need not take long, just 10 minutes daily will show results, improving circulation and skin tone.

Use a small amount of a good moisturiser or a cold-pressed oil (eg almond oil) to lubricate the skin. Wherever possible, do your exercises in a warm room or in the bath where the steam helps to relax facial muscles.

*Lift your eyebrows and open your eyes wide. Open your mouth wide and say 'aaahhh', while sticking your tongue out. Hold for 15 seconds.

*Think of your face as a clock: Starting with your chin, make the muscles of your face 'sweep' in a clockwise direction all the way from '6 o'clock' back to '6 o'clock'. Reverse the direction, and do the same thing counter-clockwise.

*To strengthen the mouth muscles, make an 'o' with your lips and then attempt to pull them together like a drawstring bag without actually letting them close. Reverse the action by trying to open your lips, but keeping them held tightly. Relax and repeat.

*Tilt your head backwards while lifting your chin up to the ceiling. Hold this position while making chewing motions with the mouth.

*Slowly and gently roll your head around on your neck, as if trying to touch your shoulders with your ears. Do two rolls in each direction.

Book Swap

Hi Girls I have been thinking of doing a book swap for a while. I am a big reader and never read the same book twice and I am hoping that you are the same. If you have lots of books at home that you will probably never read again this swap is for you. Please email me at goddess_luan@hotmail.com In the email please tell me what sort of books you like to read so I can try and match you with someone you would be compatible with. So if you hate Sci Fi but love Romance etc just let me know. Also leave your postal address so I can pass this on to your book partner.
The swap:
* Each participant will be given the address to send their book to and you may receive a address overseas so heads up it may cost. So basically you send a book and hopefully if all goes to plan you should receive a book.

* If we do end up with a odd number I will post 2 books out so nobosy misses out.

* This swap is international and anyone can participate, regardless of location.

* Sign ups for the swap will close on Saturday the 25th of June, I will email you the details of your partners soon afterwards and then you will have two weeks to put together and send off your books by the 9th ofJuly

* If I've left anything out or if you have any questions feel free to send me an email
